Terminal 2 of Cancun International Airport to reopen
Due to the continued increase in passengers, managing company Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (Asur) says that Terminal 2 of the Cancun International Airport will reopen.
In a statement, Asur says that as of July 14, the airport’s Terminal 2 will again operate, starting with two national airlines.
They added that in order to comply with health obligations issued by the Ministry of Health, they decided to reopen the terminal, which is the one of their busiest. The reopening of the terminal will also help prevent traveler saturation at Terminal 4, which is where all airlines currently land.
